Slide 1 below is the view from the aircraft looking NE on the approach from the south into Anchorage.  It shows College Fjord and the huge Harvard Glacier at the end.  The last two slides show the damage in Anchorage of the 1964 Great Alaskan Earthquake.  It was magnitude 9.2 and centred at College Fjord.
